Michelle, Kyra and Becky's Bat Mitzvah Project

With much gratitude to Hashem, Michelle Schiowitz, Kyra Beals, and Becky Blum will be celebrating their bat mitzvahs in the month of September! As a way to connect this beautiful milestone with the current situation in Israel, our families have paired up with Smile for the Kids, an organization that provides traveling carnivals to communities in Israel deeply impacted by the tragedy of war. Our goal is to help organize and run a carnival for the community in Shlomit which is a small town close to Gaza that has experienced many tragedies since Oct 7. We feel connected to this community, especially since they have 12 girls celebrating their bat mitzvahs this year and we want to bring some joy to them and their families.

We welcome donations of any amount to help us bring some joy and reprieve to the families of the south during these difficult times and are excited for your partnership to make this chessed initiative possible. All monies raised will be used to support this beautiful organization and the many events they run in communities all over Israel. We can’t wait to bring, smiles to these families and feel connected with them in this meaningful way. Mazal tov and Tizku lmitzvos!
