Helping the Widows and Orphans of the War

Since the war in Israel began on October 7, hundreds of women have been widowed, and thousands of children have been orphaned. Whether their loss stems from the brutal attack on Otef Aza, the death of a soldier during the war, or rocket attacks, each family faces a unique and profound struggle as they navigate this heartbreaking reality. In response, MAMAN Non-Profit and Smiles for the Kids have joined forces to raise funds and bring moments of joy to as many of these families as possible. Through therapeutic and fun activities, we aim to provide these families with a chance to smile and feel the warmth of a community that cares deeply for them. Together, we strive to remind them they are not alone.

Some of the activities will include:

• Mosaic, flower decorating, baking, and cake decorating workshops
• Bounce houses and prize bags at the home
• Candy platters
• Surprise birthday gifts/parties
• Dinner, gift cards, or a night out
• Massage therapy
• Magician and mentalist parties
• Mountain biking therapy
• And many more...

Each family, widow, and orphan has different needs, and together with them, we will identify those needs and do what we can to make them smile.
