YOM HATZMAUT SMILES

This Yom Ha’atzmaut will be different and unlike any other that we can remember.

We are running a campaign to bring Yom Ha'atzmaut smiles to those affected by the ongoing conflict in Israel. Volunteers will have a chance to participate and be hands on in activities that will make this day even more meaningful and special for them and the recipients of our events.

We will be serving a Yom Ha'atzmaut BBQ lunch to members of Unit 8208, Division B, who are no longer in active duty, but lost 14 members of their unit in the war. Their families will all be joining and there will be activities for all of the kids, workshops for adults and a low key celebration as many families are still in mourning.

All additional funds raised will be used to host ongoing carnivals and events for families in need and evacuees as we create a pipeline of events throughout the year. All volunteers are encouraged to join and participate regularly.
